In We Dive
04:01
|
|||
There's a cove made of rocks near my home,
on this coaastline made of sand.
Three thousand miles where the waves come home
to create their other plan.
And when we're feeling ready to stand
when we're feeling willing and able,
we come on here
on the wind to test, all we have,
on our table.
And in we dive.
There stands a man above us with his bearded dog,
weary eyes and ragged fog,
that man our lighthouse - standing strong
he'll watch us
till we're safe along.
Some have come and then the spell is broken,
the arms of the oceans cost.
No one knows a strength like this till its taken,
their every thought and song.
His watchful eye over us,
he'll be our statue till we're home.

Someone Else's Life
04:21
|
|||
You're living someone else's life,
every time you let them in.
But I've got the keys you can chose where to drive,
from where you been.
Fly's buzzing my thoughts,
We been growing this course,
This time is passing us by, we're giving it away,
no one knows what to say or when or why.
But I love you much too much,
Not to care.
To let this end oh babe,
just anywhere.
I got you, and you got this,
we're gonna win.
This stories written itself,
all the echoes from the past.
Oh I'm looking in your eyes, all i can see is a glance,
a missing glance.
I'm looking at the paper,
lost in emptiness.
We're bent to the knees,
I'm begging darling please,
I'm numb to this advance.

Glue
05:18
|
|||
I've got glue on,
my fingers again.
They've gone numb,
and I can't feel through them.
Rough around the edges,
I know it's still deep within,
But I've been trying
to Glue my life together again.
I've been hiding,
from your sight.
I do that from time to time.
They say I need to recharge my mind.
I know just how it feels,
when it's been too long.
Forget to come up air.
Or to which air
I belong.

This Time
04:42
|
|||
We are fearfully wondering
we are fearfully made
if this work we're born in to,
is gonna live and learn and make some change
Can I steal you for a minute,
Can I steal you for some time.
In a universe designed for life,
we're living on this Fibonacci planet,
and if we're dreaming of this life,
we could live on hand in hand.
And I'm sewing my clothes together,
Im wearing them inside out,
I been carrying my emotions around me
like some kind of crazy lout.
And the golden rule,
and the golden rule,
is that I'm
I'm made
for you.
And I'll sing for you,
till the stars come out at night
till the stars are in my eyes,
and I'll sing for you.
